Committee Structure
The Association is committed to provide member companies an opportunity to become involved with its activities. Many of these committees meet monthly and welcome guests to participate in their discussion. The committee listing and a brief description are provided below.
Health Insurance Trust
Board of Trustees appointed by the Board of Directors to oversee the operations of the Association Insurance Trust that includes numerous health insurance and related products.
Employee Relations Council
A network of individuals focused on human resource education and roundtable discussions.
Annual Meeting
The premier event that gives members and non-members the opportunity to network, learn the status of key Association thrusts, and provides members with an opportunity to vote on Board members and by-law amendments.
Education and Training
A committee of members and other parties that manage the development of training programs, selection of training facilities, and worker development grant funds.
Legislation
Members and other interested parties that develop legislative recommendations to the Board, represent the Association in political activities, and interact with local elected officials.
Long Range Planning
An ad hoc committee assigned by the Board to review and update the strategy plan for the Association.
Membership and Marketing
Members and other interested parties that review and participate in membership programs and suggest marketing opportunities.
Workforce Development
Members who represent the Association in school to work functions and other related matters.
Finance
Appointed by the Board to oversee and provide recommendations on Association financial matters.
Programs
Members and other interested parties that oversee roundtable groups and introduce new programs to the Association.
Good Government
Members appointed by the Board to manage the Association's Political Action Committee.
