Course Outline: American Red Cross and the Manufacturers’ Association Team up!

This course will satisfy the OSHA training requirements. Completers will receive three-year first aid certificates and one-year CPR certifications from the American Red Cross. Standard First Aid is designed to meet the needs of business and industry. The course includes recognizing and caring for life–threatening emergencies in adults.

Arc Flash Study Analysis
Course Outline: The new rules regarding Arc Flash can be confusing. Schaedler Yesco has developed a training program to walk you through the process of what you are required to do, what the rules are, how they pertain to you, and how to start the process of complying. Forklift Operator Training

Introduction to the NEC Course #107
Course Outline: This is an instructor led, compentency based program on the introduction to the National Electrical Code. The course will explain the structure of the code so that clear interpretation of the desired code rule can be understood. The course will also cover the first four chapters of the NEC, which are the general practice chapters of the code. At the completion of the course the students will be given a twenty-five question one-hour practice test.
    Learner Outcomes
  • The student will be able to associate the NEC Styles Manual for the interpretation of the NEC
  • The student will be able to implement a concept on logical though process and use it as a tool for the research of code questions.
  • The students will be able to distinguish the general requirements for electrical installation and be able to list the chapter/article/part/section.
  • The students will be able to identify the general requirements for all types of switches to comply with the NEC Article 404 and be able to list chapter/article/part/section.
  • The student will be able to identify the general requirements for Industrial control panels to comply with the NEC Article 409 and be able to list chapter/article/part/section.

NEC 2008 Changes

Overhead Crane Inspection and Recertification
Course Outline: Overhead Crane Inspection Full 3 day course OR 1-day Review Course Option 1: 3-day course.
Inspection - This popular course encompasses the inspection criteria for all brands of Overhead Cranes and hoists. Maintenance and inspection staff will learn safety requirements and inspection criteria in accordance with OSHA, ANSI/ASME and CMAA codes and regulations. Those who successfully pass an evaluation test will be awarded a crane inspection card valid for two years! There is no additional charge for this testing. Refresher training is recommended every two years.
