The Manufacturers' Association

SCPA works in partnership with The Manufacturers' Association of South Central PA (MASCPA) to develop an industry-reviewed and recognized manufacturing pathway program. The program is broken into 2 levels. Level I: Introduction to manufacturing is a 50-hour program, designed to prepare students with classes such as essential blueprint reading, shop math, OSHA10, and soft skills training. Manufacturing Level II is an additional 45-hour training that includes basic material handling and shop practices.

Our first class of graduates has completed both level I & II and has been given the opportunity to interview with five York County Manufacturing companies. Each company has expressed interest in these participants and is pursuing further recruitment efforts. The Manufacturing Pathway program is ongoing, with more cohorts in the future. For more information, please contact PA Careerlink York County - a service of SCPa Works. #workforcewednesdays #workforcedevelopment #southcentralpa #manufacturing #yorkcountypa
