Electrical Technical Troubleshooting

This twenty-one hour extremely hands on course, builds on Industrial Electricity I and provides the advanced skills
The emphasis is directed towards understanding the technical aspects of electricity and their application in manufacturing.

The course topics include AC Principles, Inductance, Capacitance, AC Power, Transformers and more. 

 

Day 1: Refresher of Ind 1 plus transformers, capacitors and PLC circuit explanations and comparisons to Relay logic

Day 2: Understanding and evaluating 1P and 3P Motors and wiring methods

Day 3: Arc Flash safety certification and NEC code awareness and sample codes

*Students can use course credit hours towards Apprentice Program Requirements*

Tools required: Screwdriver, plyers and wire strippers.
If you do not have the book from Level I, the books cost will be an additional $105.
