Emotional Intelligence

Although some level of technical competence is required for most jobs, peak performers stand out because of their ability to work well with others, not just their personal achievement

This half day course will identify & strengthen these non-technical competencies that are necessary in today’s workplace:

  • Self-awareness, self-confidence and self-control
  • Commitment and integrity
  • The ability to empathize, communicate and influence; to initiate and accept change

Course Goals:

  • Understand the importance of emotional intelligence
  • Know the five components of emotional intelligence
  • Implement the skills required for emotional intelligence
  • Develop a plan for enhancing one’s emotional intelligence
